This week we feature Coach Dick Angle. Coach Angle was born and raised on the West Side. He played grade school football at St Brendan’s School with many Chaney football greats and alumni….He played high school football at Ursuline and played in the City Series 8000 spectators would come to see the city rivals compete.

Coach Angle spent 40 years as a head football coach, most notably at his alma mater Ursuline High School and later Howland High School. He amassed over 100 wins at UHS and over 100 wins at Howland High School. During his tenure at Ursuline he competed against Chaney for many years and specifically Coach Berdis.
